Trashy tinsel steampunk recycled butterly tin earring with gear
$24.95
A cookie tin covered with butterflies was recycled to make these earrings. A butterfly wing of brown, purple and orange makes up the semicircular part of the earring. A copperish colored gear has been cold connected to the bottom.
There is a triangular shaped ear wire that is connected to the earring and goes through the ear lobe much like a hoop. The way this works is hard to describe but one of the pictures (Picture 3) gives you an idea of how it works. The backside of the earring will show if the earrings are in the wrong ear. (Picture 4)
The wire that goes through the earlobe is niobium which is an element that is hypoallergic. It's natural color is the gray you see in the picture.
